Today's project has a Spring time feel, the weather here in Michigan
is in a temporary warming trend (30's) and it feels oh so good! I
am hearing from the weather man that it may hit 40 degrees here
on Sunday! By golly....that is "shorts" weather almost! he..he..
Today's inspiration came from
the Mojo Monday sketch that
I was seriously trying my best
to follow! Oh, Oh.....something
in my creative mind went askew
and ...... well, I ended up with a
bit of a different version than what
I had originally planned on
my card for today. That is the
great thing about creativity!
You are the one in charge, and
you can start with an idea....and totally make it your own, you must
FEEL THE MOJO....FEEL IT I TELL YOU!
My colors today were inspired by an article I was reading recently in
my February issue of the
Stampin' Success magazine
(for demo's only).
The article is called "The Purple
Yellow Craze" and I found some cool tips about this particular color
combo. Now... I did add a splash of Pretty In Pink to my card as it
was calling to me but if you click on the article above, you will find
so cool tips for this pretty color pair.
My focal point on today's card
is a 5 star ribbon flower that I
made using 7/8" wide ribbon.
The leaves are punched from
the new punch in the occassions
mini catalog #117191 Extra
Large Two-Step Bird. It is
a wonderful punch and I can
see will quickly become one
of my new favorites for sure!
I have another order coming in today with more new goodies to
try from the new mini catalog! It's a sickness I tell you! he..he..
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
