Monochromatic Vintage Vogue

Greetings Stampers and TGIT (Thank God its Thursday!) almost
Friday.

Did you SEE????  Did you see I hit 50 followers on my blog????  Well,
I know there are more than 50 of you, but it is good to finally hit that
number on the left side of my blog.  This means another giveaway
celebration!  I have to think of something.....I will get back to you
on that!  BTW, GINA W. PLEASE EMAIL ME! I need your
address so I can send you out the Food Journal Tin you won!

Okay....so, I whipped out the Vintage Vogue set and proceeded to
make this mono tone card.   I had a small piece of bubble wrap laying
on my work table from what I don't know, and it somehow became my
"tool" for making the dotted background on my card.  Hmmmmm, see..
now you are all going to be saving those pieces of bubble wrap aren't
you??  Yep, and don't break those bubbles....even though you will
want to!  Pretty easy to do, bunch up the bubble wrap, dab it into
your ink pad and pounce away onto your card stock.

The two color combo for today's card is Close to Cocoa and
Very Vanilla.  There is a touch of whisper white for the sentiment
and ribbon.

Since I have been stitching up a storm on my Big Shot purses,
the sewing machine was handy so I did a bit of stitching on
my card. I cannot believe how the Big Shot fabric craze
has hit me...yes, I am contemplating getting a new sewing
machine even.  But...wait....no extra money.....oh poo...
darn it....well, maybe if I can find a deal on a nice one,
just maybe the better half with feel sorry for me and let
me get it.  Yep....WHINE....I will WHINE and make
him feel bad!   I know...tell him my sewing machine
caught fire and exploded because I was working so
hard on the purses....he will believe that won't he?

Today is Brayer Class 101.  The ladies will be here
today at 1pm to get started.  We have 2 really pretty
cards to make, and I am looking forward to the
company, it get's lonely out in my shop all by myself
sometimes and I get tired of always talking to myself,
and YES, I do answer myself....heck, I even argue
with myself! he..he..

Thanks for stopping by today, you know I *wuv* you!

Bubble wrap, huh? I had made a card a long time ago, before I was a Demo, at my upline's house using bubble wrap and had forgotten all about it. You have resurrected the idea for me! Thanks for sharing and I will have to pull out some bubble wrap!
