Take 5: Sweet Pea Flower Barrettes

Greetings Stampers!

So I was playing around today with the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt flowers
#117266 and I ended up making these darling little barrettes for my
Granddaughter!  Don't you just love em'?  I mean... how easy can
it be?  These went together pretty quick, in about 5 minutes!

I have been on a flower kick
lately.  I am tired of winter...
Bring on Spring!  I am going
to a RV and Camper show on
Saturday.... it will be a nice day
to dream about getting away
and getting back out into the
woods with the hubby, dogs and nature!Oh, I don't anticipate
buying anything much, but it will be nice looking and dreaming
of the RV I planning on having someday when I retire and go
on the road to the WARM weather!

I also made some of these
cute blooms using the
#114526 Circles 2 die
and hand cut leaves.  I
made these out of felt,
I like the acrylic better
then wool and the acrylic
tends to shape and move
a bit better then the wool, it is a bit to stiff for a project like this.
It really is quite simple to make these felt blooms and they can
be used for hair baubbles, on clothing, pillows or what ever.

And Yes...I am going to
get on the fabric flower
bandwagon...I am intreguied
by how they make those and
so I purchased the #115970
Flower Folds die the other
day so I can try my hand
at making them.

Oh BTW,  I am working on the written tutorial for the Weight Loss Journal
Tin I made in my post Here, so keep you eyes out for that... I am
hoping to have it available maybe next week :).

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Very cute, I too am getting into the "fabric" trend. There are so many cute things out there.
